I'm adding an extra couple of 'points' to my Sput resume in case you're counting (you're not, I know).
Slugdge are from Preston if memory serves me, seems like the sort of catchy death metal band you'd appreciate man, unlike some people around here you don't appear to be against 'fun' in music. On that subject Polkadot Cadaver's 'Sex Offender' is stupidly good fun, it should be illegal. Silly & definitely not subtle but if you don't mind a little Bungle-esque craziness it's great.
Very off topic.

Nearly up there with Dissection's best. I know we shouldn't always compare (but everyone does, seemingly).

It's not quite as good as Storm or The Somberlain but it's up there.

I'm sure this album will be compared to Dissection until mankind ends. Of course the music is similar, but Far Away from the Sun is truly a unique beast of its own.

Of course you can. Just jam it in the darkest room available, embrace the darkness and let the magic happen m/

Nah I get bored of this in certain parts. Vocally not as powerful as Dissection either.
And now it's too warm out for frosty black metal so I guess I'll wait till December ):

I think I still like it less than Storm of the Light's Bane (I heard they are comparable). But it's definitely a beast of an album.

"Where's dat rating bro???"
