Christian's vocal range is incredible though. Pretty much what made them stand out now they feel bland and like everyone else

The entire intro "The shape of things to come" is sung by Per. Check it out, there are song previews on amazon.com

Dat riff in Technocalyptic Cybergeddon sounds like something off Alien by SYL. Definitely gonna be a better song than Holographic Universe.

That dude is I can't even...

He does bring up some valid points, though. And he'd probably like The Contortionist or Slice the Cake.

I don't hate these guys at all, I just think their not the best out there. You know how I feel about modern Tech Death (albeit this is prog tech death). This album how ever is an exception to that through and through

Bruv, this is melodeath. Not tech death. There are some prog elements here and there, though. I get what you mean, though. If I found this album for the first time today, it'd probably be a hard 4.5 at best. But this album strikes a personal chord with me.

Yep, this is totally not tech death. Though it IS very technical, particularly in the solo department.

ah I see. my bad. Sometimes theres just certain albums that strike an emotion connection with us I get that man. I don't mean to offend :]

But yeah for even with all of its tech leanings this still rules hard

Dude came across as such a snobby, stuck-up faggot. Wimpy as fuck too. I agree with him on pig squeals though, those are fucking silly.

@emester Yeah, thanks. Like you said, it's not a bad album, even from an objective standpoint.

@Key and Xfing He's not a total dumbass. Just most of the time.

Well yeah, I could relate to him liking Scar Symmetry and the way he talked about art and all, but he seemed almost femininely sensitive to me, also he didn't look like he had researched the subject thoroughly and objectively before making a silly rant video about it. Also, he said he doesn't like moshpits at all, which made him come across as a contemplative introvert, which is like asking to be fucked in the ass by a rhinoceros in mating season.
