Still blows my mind to this day

tied the tds for me

The Fragile is only better if you just listen to music for bombast. TDS has way more artistic depth and stands as his defining statement that everything else revolves around. His work before was building up to it and his work after is finding what else to say.
Anyway I would 5 this but it just gets too bloated at times (and Trent admits it), though it is the best showcase of his production abilities.

Strange, my version of The Fragile appears to have 98 songs of "[silence]"

Reminds me of Antichrist Superstar's secret message at the end...

Nahhhh

Well he does suck now so I guess you're right.

The beginning of "We're In This Together" showcases an end of the world feel better than anything on Year Zero.

I've never really gotten that vibe from that part of the song, but I think "In This Twilight" off Year
Zero is a great example of that kind of feeling you're referring to.
|
| |
I didn't either until I watched the video for the song. "In This Twilight" is great though, like most of Year Zero.

Yeah man. "Zero-Sum" too imo. But the songs off there are incredible live. After seeing them I binged
on that album for months.

havent listened to this for some time, and La Mer and The Way Out is still so fuckin good.
It would be nice if Trent can come up with another "Fragile like" album when NIN returns.

Yeah man. Trent changes directions for all his albums. The closest sound you'll get is a more Ghosts/The Slip sounding record, if at all.
