I finally rebought this today. I forgot how good it is. It's nothing compared to old System of course, but this album was the last one the creative System made. What I've heard from Hypnotize is disgraceful to SOAD.

holy mountains is the best on hypnotize, and i do agree both albums don't stand up to the previous three, but i do believe mezmerize is quite underrated.

I don't buy the actual albums often, but this one I got as soon as it came out. The lyrics definitely are interesting poking politics and generalities. Overall definitely worth every penny.

First of all, very nicely done review. I don't necessarily agree, though. I personally think that this is their best album. But, I have yet to hear all of Self-Titled and Steal This Album. So, I guess that it could change.
