Oh man a lot of the guitar stuff here is super crunchy and lovely and exactly the tone and lushness I miss sometimes! Wonderfully distorted. (Their sound reminds me of Supercar Johnny! Hello~! That's a compliment!) Also drums sound good. His vox will need a little getting used to still, but I do like them. They're a bit nasal or something?
But yes. This is nice.

Yes I think so too. Warmth is right, sincerity too. That nasal quality is not something I hear a lot, so it does stand out a little, not yet sure in what way.

Yes I guess they did! It was never a genre I explored much at the time (too busy with Cradle of Filth and Within Temptation and Moby and The Prodigy back then haha!), despite always being interested. Don't know why it never happened!

Johnny, that's sort of what I was getting at. But they do have more solos than you might initially think! Time's Arrow, Utilities, the live version of Wellington's Wednesdays etc. So like four or five I guess ;)
