This is This is almost a 5 for me. It's almost as good as California. They're just two insanely
different albums.

Yeah they are pretty much polar opposites to be fair, hard to compare

How many newborns do I have to sacrifice for a new Mr. Bungle album?

There's no way it would live up to expectations now
|
| |
Oh, I know. I'd be satisfied with something in the same vein as their self-titled though. There is no way in hell they could make another record like this or California.

I think a record in the style of California would be the easiest to make
I think the self titled, more than the other two albums, took its influences from the music of its time
|
| |
True. But, they could update the influences and keep the style.
|
| |
And they COULD make something like California, but I think that would lead to the most disappointment. Because, it would inevitably be compared and of course not be as good.
