once spoke to the dude from the chameleons bcos he was the only other guy out for a cig so why not, but could only think to tell him how bad i found the support act (they were shite) which he definitely had a hand in picking
still have no idea why that was my conversation of choice

I feel compelled to bump my rating... although perhaps I’ve just gone soft in my old age as I’m sitting on a plethora of potential 4.5s.

Album Rating: 4.5
Surely you’re not including Slint in that Mort?
@Johnny: what’s FTBC? The others are a definitely decline for now, especially Goo when Sister is currently a 4/5.

depends on what you're comparing it to
they are def not as shite as explosions in the sky or if these trees could talk
|
| |
na slint are good as well
but yes my question is basically are they a 'explosions in the sky' type band. im guessing theyre not.

| |
Album Rating: 4.5
Absolutely not, at least in the early stages of their career including this. More slowcore / first wave influenced. No copy paste overblown crescendo-core here.
Check Ten Rapid and Young Team as well for some noisier stuff.

"but yes my question is basically are they a 'explosions in the sky' type band. im guessing theyre not."

Mort will detest Mr. Beast, lol (apologies if I’m off base here, but yeah that’s my prediction).
@Johnny: nah I’m gonna need a more realistic suggestion, that’s a light 4/5 and I haven’t honestly given enough time to since I first checked it.
@Pika: yeah I’ve heard similar... will get to it at some point.
|
| |
why will i detest mr beast?
and where should i start with these guys anyways?
