This is better overall imo, Watershed goes like this 3 Superb songs, 1 Good song, 3 OK but boring songs and I haven't heard of In Silico. What do they sound like

This still hasn't been beaten this year, including Watershed. The new Mourning Beloveth is turning out better than I expected though, might top Shrouded Divine.

Watershed goes like this 3 Superb songs, 1 Good song, 3 OK but boring songs
Most people are saying this, but honestly, Heir Apparent and The Lotus Eater are great, but are pretty standard Opeth songs overall. I actually prefer the second half of the album.
But yeah, I'm repeating myself, but consistency is the word for this.

Yep, out on the 13th. Hopefully I'll have a review done by then. Album is very solid. A Murderous Circus is the only one I hahven't heard, but maybe that's a good thign.

"Opeth fanboy steps in"...............from what I remember with both albums, no fucking way this beats the new Opeth album, not by a long shot. But I just got this and I just got the new Opeth album so we will see how I feel in a month or two.
Burst's new album will rape anything that comes out this year.

I just got this yesterday, so I don't want to say which album is better yet, but I like them both a whole lot (and they're both 4's from me). The only problem I have with this right now is that some of the clean vocals are kinda annoying.

Thats what I found annoying too. But like any good album, it takes time to get used to. The growls and musicianship are orgazmic, thats for sure and this is a very solid album for the record. I really think their next album will tighten up all of the loose ends of this album, ie. a few awkward transistions here and there.

Meh, I disagree, I think it's almost as good as this. Maybe it's cause I never thought Opeth was as good as everyone says, or maybe it's cause, as much as I like this album, I don't think it's good as many feel it is.
