So, uh, full-circle moment here: a few days ago, one of the younger guys I supervise at work actually said "steez" irl. Can't say I was ever expecting that, lol
He was trying to explain the term to my supervisor, who's almost 2 decades older than him. And he was like, "oh well you know, it means something's fire or it's gas". The supervisor just stared at him, confused as hell, then went right back to work
