I think Jon fit in with the music more but did not ever truly stand out with shining moments. Pridgen is so fast that he stands out more but i don't think he's very good at slowing down to fit slower songs. They both had pros and cons but i like Pridgen more cause he just annihilates the drumkit.

Agreed. I'm excited to see what Pridgen brings in the future, I think it's too early to

judge who's better for the band.. I think it was said, but his work on Askepios is

phenomenal. This Message Edited On 02.27.08

Jon is the better drummer in my opinion. He had subtlety. Pridgen suits the new sound of TMV more though. Because they are starting to lack subtlety.

Jon actually smoothens songs with ultra-rapid beats and fills, which I find pretty awesome, especially on Llyena

At first I did not really care for the album, but then around on my third listen it really began to grow on me especially after hearing Llyena, btw how do you pronounce it?

After having the album for a while and listening to it every day, its not as great as it was hyped up to be.

BTW, its about a quiji board, but there are biblical references in it right?

I really don't like the vocals on this album, they sound very artificially whiny. De-Loused is much bettre than this (I still need to get Francis the Mute).

wtf how is he boring. he's ****ing immense.

123. He fills Theodore's shoes better than I think anyone else could. The kid's background is ridiculous and he's fucking incredible at what he does. Couldn't ask for much more.

Pridgen rules but Theodore is one of my top 5 drummers of all time.

Completely completely agreed. He's up there with portnoy and harrison for me.

yeah deloused is my favorite record of all time to drum to for the most part. every time i think i have a song down, i find a new thing that he's doing that i didn't notice and have to practice that.

i'm so glad i finally got this record though. it's so good.
