idk exai has tracks that aren't very dark at all (bladelores!! and, idk, jatevee C, irlite get 0) while all of Confield is hella dark.

gwyn's right that confield's a different dark, but it's more subdued, pressured, and not as sinister

as exai gets at time. confield has tracks like eidetic casein which is pretty insane, unstable

sounding but at the same time the melody is sort of jokester-ish.

exai might seem bright on some tracks like jatevee C but in that track's case there's something

underneath that warm layer that the breakbeats bludgeon and the dubs and glitches distort.

i dont think confield is dark at all, it's just sterile
