yeah, the 2nd half takes longer to marinate, but the first half's immediacy should have already given you plenty of reasons to persevere by that point

A quick Discogs says the current one is the special edition US LP version, yet their (US) regular edition is from the same year and features the normal cover, which totally should be the cover used here too.

rejammed this the other day and it might have my favourite opening pairing of any record. feel that Monsters has slid way down the ladder (having been a first-jam highlight years and years ago) and that Jelena is the true closer after all. still a 5 obviously

yeah, the tremolo-reverb climax on Broken Glass is still kinda naff but everything about the first half (and maybe We Just Stopped Breathing as an honourable) is otherwise impeccable
