I have a friends that says he can't tell the difference between this and Metallica. I laughed right in his face. One of my favorite metal albums of all time. Kills all the way through.

Roots was also my first Sep so it took me a lot of time to check another album of theirs too.

And mine. I'd heard bits and pieces of Chaos AD but Roots was the first one I properly took time over. This is obviously miles better but nothing compares to the first time I heard Roots bloody roots ripping out the stereo. It really is up there with my 'defining moments in music'

My first taste of sep was chaos ad...love that album so hard still, one of my first metal albums. Lots of nostalgia it'll always hold a special place in my heart
