The reason bands like this won't go away is because they're accessible. They are gateway bands into better music! Don't pretend for a second none of you listened to gay music the first few years you were discovering it. Fans of this music are either:
A) First time music listeners
B) Don't give shit about elitists and will admit to be being somewhat impressed with some hooks
C) Just like listening to some gay music once in a while

Wow, what a god awful review. Not because he gave it a 1, but because his reasons for giving it a 1 were pretentious and unsupported. For example, Gates had nothing to do with "A Little Piece of Heaven", the drummer wrote pretty much the whole thing.

Its still a god awful album though. It doesn't matter that he had one fact wrong, thats besides the point. He clearly backed up his reasoning well, therefore this review was well done (not because I'm biased either). Do you even know what pretentious means?
