I've only heard two Bolt Thrower albums. I'm a big slacker.

I'm hard on rating but,
In Battle There Is No Law and Honour, Valour, Pride are 3 for me others are 3.5-4

a lot of their stuff is pretty melodic so their discog was easy for me to get into

this was actually a little too melodic for me. solid otherwise but so much other stuff I'd rather spend my time listening to at this point

Excellent album, and key to exactly what Bolt Thrower do well and have done ever since they formed. 'The killchain' and the title track are just belligerent.

Wow I'm glad that I decided to check this out when I saw someone else's comment about septic flesh and bolt thrower being metal gems. I've heard about bolt thrower for a while now but never bothered to look into them. The album is just so deliciously groovy with all the thrashy riffs, yet has the heaviness I'm looking for in classic death metal style! :D

This album kinda makes me imagine what it would be like if you took Amon Amarth and sliced off the melodic parts, somehow.
