Ya Crysis was a good game, Crysis Warhead was decent... didn't like it all that much because it was too much of the same. This Message Edited On 12.15.08

Alright, I'll even contribute to your little test. I'll have to listen to the song again first, because I don't remember it.

if you don't remember it, is it safe to say it's forgettable? :p

The song's not exactly forgettable, (I remember the chorus quite well) its just that it's not as good as the other tracks really.

And if it helps your theory at all its my least favorite song and I'm single currently. Oh and I think altmer really loves that song but he doesn't have a girlfriend, but if i'm not mistaken he said he was really in love with some girl...or something like that.

On another note Elegy is a fucking great album I think i'll have to review that over my winter break. Against Widows is my favorite Amorphis song.

The chorus is really cool, but the verses are pretty damn boring. So overall, it's listenable but not great. Does that put me in the grey area where the results don't count? Oh yeah, I have a girlfriend.

On another note Elegy is a ****ing great album I think i'll have to review that over my winter break. Against Widows is my favorite Amorphis song.
Fuck yeah... do it. I second that opinion... Against Widows is my favorite too.

Well break starts for me the tuesday before Christmas (half day that day) and we go back on January 5th I think, so i'll have plenty of time. Haven't heard the Karelian Isthmus, is it any good? I wasn't a huge fan of Thousand Lakes though, I want to like it a lot but its just ok for me.

I actually like Karelian Isthmus more a lot of the time. It's darker and more tradional doom-ish metal. There's no clean singing, repetitive folk melodies, or keyboard overkill.

Ollie + Crysis:

Fair Enough. It's great to hear that.

I really had never had an experience like that until hearing Insomnium. Even with Hybrid Theory the first time I listened to it I was confused and had to figure it out.

In any event, I'm not there yet on this cd. But in light of your replies I'll keep faith.
