Fall of Troy are more likened to alternative punk/indie rather than metalcore.
Seeing as they have like, no breakdowns whatsoever.

AILD are really overrated by zealots.

I have to agree, The Sound of Truth is a fantastic song. Any song whose lead riff incorporates sweeping just has to be good.

FBTMF aren't that good, I find them an annoying verson of Fall of Troy. As I lay dying were extremely overated, until this came out. They finally lived up to there hype, now lets hope they can build off this.

Jordan Mancino is one of the genre's best drummers. His work on 94 Hours is exceptional. His double bass is triggered though...
Comfort Betrays is one of the best tracks on offer here. This Message Edited On 08.25.07

In metalcore? He is nowhere near the best.

Okay, who's better then?
|

His double bass is triggered though...
What does this mean?
|
| |
Okay, who's better then? Ben Koller, Tim Latona, Chris Pennie, etc.
What does this mean? He uses triggers for his bass drum so every hit sounds exactly the same. He can get the same sound out of the lightest touch as a smash on the skin.
|
| |
triggers also make the bass drum hits sound clearer
too bad most people who use triggers have a horrible, clicky sound.
