LS is my all time favorite hip-hop album as well! That's crazy. Both of those albums definitely put a lot of effort into both categories, I think that's really important as well.

Liquid Swords is my favourite hip-hop album, too. And I used to be a metalhead. I still listen to it, but not nearly as much as I did about a year ago.

Also I think the reason why most metalheads tend to drift towards Liquid Swords is because of the dark atmosphere it produces. That atmosphere is unmatched. Album is perfection.

I think the beat to "Swordsmen" is a perfect example of the atmospheric feel of the production. It gives such a feel just in the beat alone.
