My hypotheses:

#1 - This is the type of album that has a short life span because you enjoy it soooo much when you hear it. I played it continuously when I heard it, for much longer than any album ought to be repeatedly played, but I haven't listened to it in a while because it's beginning to be burned out, and I find myself not being as excited about the songs as I used to be. Perhaps the same has happened to you, but you may be beyond the point of no return.

...OR...

#2 - You're insane.

well, i definitely didn't over-play it bc i loved it but constantly forgot about it...idk, now i just find a lot of it cheesy and immature...they definitely have something but i'd like a little change in direction or something...

except that one "take a gander the bigger they are the harder they fall" part in dance of the manatee lol even though the way he changes vocals there is great

I got this cause it got rec'ed in one of my list. Was disappointed - it's ok overall and has great parts here and there but the cheese-factor is way too strong.

so from looking at these peoples ratings this will probably not be great, but it might be good, and theres even a better chance that this will be excellent

I usually don't like most alternative rock because most alt rock bands don't bring anything different to the table but this band is amazing. I randomly saw them live when I was dragged to a Wednesday 13 show and Fair to Midland was the best band there by far. I'm usually into metal and progressive metal but this band, imo, could appeal to anyone who likes any music. Plus Darroh's vocals are epic and powerful. And I love his lyrics and how he utilizes metaphors and imagery to really paint a picture for the listener.
