Nah haha I'm alright, dude. But re-reading it, I realize that I misunderstood you. It's all fine, my friend. Rock n roll!

If not for Hollis' voice it'd be impossible to believe this is the same group that made these kind of songs:

True. Totally at the opposite pole. Remains so good. I used to dance on it in clubs. Ooh...Memories....

I know my parents had It's My Life and Spirit of Eden in their cd collection, the former I remember being played and the latter was described as 'then they started making weird music'. Oh, they should have properly heard this one.

...'then they started making weird music'.

Yeah I can easily hear it 'cos there's really a gap between the last two and all the previous one. The Colour of Spring is kind of a transitional album, yet much closer to their previous albums than anything. As for the last two, they are truly from another world. Once again like you just said, only Hollis' voice is left as a reference.

High quality new wave-post rock-ambient-classy album. Just love Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock so much.

Almost no oxygen here...dark and claustrophobic.

Awesome music.

I was recommended this as a must-own post-rock album. I feel mislead; this most definitely isn't post-rock. That said, it's still damn good.
