Harvester of Sorrow is very boring....The best tracks here, IMO, are Dyers Eve, Blackened, AJFA, To Live is to Die

This is probably my favorite Metallica album. Next go MoP and Black. RTL was great to.

How old was James here? I think his voice was changing or something and it's sick as hel.

Cool. I wish he still sounded like that. There new stuff would be much better if he did.

They're different that's for sure. I prefer his later vocal work though. But his vocals here are still pretty tough, bar the odd pig-squeal.

james got older and his voice got deeper, his deeper voice suits (re)load, st anger and the black album, but his high voice was better for their early thrash (this, RTL, MOP) his voice is inbetween on AJFAThis Message Edited On 07.09.06

IMO, The only way it suits the album is that his voice gets worse and the album gets worse. He has a good evil sound when he voice is high, and when its gets deeper, he sounds like a gay redneck. I think he was best from RTL to Black. Very best on Mop. Then agian its the same story with the guitar.

MoP > KeA > RtL > Black Album > AJFA

James's voice in the verse parts of Welcome Home was the best he's ever done.

Kill 'Em All was the last metallica album to enter my collection (years ago, but the last) and it was great when i heard it. best tracks are phantom lord, no remorese, seek & destroy and of course anesthesia owns (despite what others may say about there being "better bass players out there").

as for his vocals, to me they were sort of annoying since it was my last metallica album so i had already gotten use to James' deep voice, but still once you get use to it you realize how good this album is.

kill 'em all is a great album. Seek and destroy is a good song , however after a while it gets boring. i hate the bits when he's (james) singing (or trying) "serchin seek and destroy".
