I think the reason people are letdown is because they were expecting a heavy record as indicated by the band. You can't go in expecting it to sound that way. I only listened to it once, and now I am going to wait to buy it. The melodies, the atmosphere, and the more addition of keyboards and samples. I dig it. It isn't as heavy as they described, but there are moments of heaviness.
