Slayer at their best are the best - Megadeth is more 'busy' than Metallica but Metallica are better songwriters. Anthrax are he least serious but still, pretty good.

80's through 1990 releases are really hard to compare.......but over the last 35 years, Megadeth has been the best band as far as releasing music is concerned and its not even close......most of the post 1990 releases for the big 4 are not good but at least megadave has countdown, youthanasia, cryptic, endgame, and dystopia
