FR. I thought about this while doing a word search about ghosts. Ok I'll put it out there, does anyone really like Closedown? It's not a bad song, but it is purely a transitional song. Also if was going to just stick a single at the bottom it would probably be Love Song. I know it's influential but still rather simple. Closedown as I write this is my number 12 song in the ranking.

I think Seventeen Seconds or maybe an old Bad Religion has really good transitional tracks, but it does seem when it comes to just ranking the songs. Eh hehe. I wasn't saying I found the gospel worst track, but I don't really think that song does a lot.
I actually don't think Plain Song is as good as most ppl consider it. So there is my blasphemous take. It's fine but I'd put that bottom half.

honestly i genuinely don't know what a "right" ranking would be, and it says a lot about how legendary this album is when i can even say the "weakest" song is 5 stars, shit i can't even say that about most of my favorite albums of all time, even my beloved Jane Doe has a couple 4.5's

When I was ranking albums. I notoriously think a song on 'Head on the Door' is mostly bad but it's not that bad to sink the album from a '5.' A lot of times there is just something I feel like is only a 4 or 4.5. Anyway besides over thinking heh there was no way I wasn't going to 5 this.
I wish I found this site years ago I was certainly looking for music sites back in the day and participated in some defunct ones. Also kkarron we are bumping this for you.
