I found none of the whole album good.

"Your ears just aren't developed enough." Is now the second stupidest thing I've heard today.

Judging by your ratings, I don't see why this isn't clicking with you. I would suggest you try Slow Riot, and see if that works a little better for you.

He also 5'd Dredg, and I think Godspeed's more "rocking" moments can be enjoyed by a guy who likes Tool at least.

Sorry, this just isn't for me. And if this is what it means to have "developed ears", I hope my ears never develop.

yea but dredg is completely over-the-top and accessible and GYBE is more subtle and slow I don't really see your point there. same with Tool, really. both bands have legions of 15 year-old fans who are just getting into music and that's not as much the case with GYBE (not that they don't exist, obvi).

don't worry you'll grow past the age of 16 and learn to appreciate more subtle and more interesting music eventually
I don't even mean that in a mean way -- trust me, there was a point where I listened to mostly RHCP and The Strokes lol

Again, I'm 31 nig. This is just boring. Nothing interesting about playing the same boring thing over, and over, and over, and over.

I'm just trying to give this guy the benefit of the doubt. I seriously think he could get this and not just brush it off based off of one listen. If he had Asking Alexandria or Nickleback 5'd it would be different, but he does have relatively good taste.

not sure what your excuse for having such shallow taste is then... maybe you just need to listen to more diverse interesting music??

then you progressed to the national and the gaslight anthem

yea

That's why this album is interesting, because it isn't the same boring thing over, and over, and over, and over. If you actually listened to it from beginning to end as opposed to listening to a few sample clips maybe you would understand.

Sirdrums honestly, if you're not into post rock than you'll def not like it. The reason people love this is because it's atmosphere is masterful and it evokes emotions of an apocalyptic world more than any other album without even using words. Though their second album and ep are much better, it's an incredible piece of post rock. So it has nothing to do with you liking Tool or dredg or your age(lol). People need to stop getting so butt hurt when someone doesn't like a sputnikcore album. Different strokes for different folks people.
