Nah I'd say they're alright, but theyre two of the weakest songs on the album along with "On My Teeth" which works well as a single but doesn't particularly flow great in the tracklist.

credit where credit is due it wouldve taken me way longer to check this band out had it not been for on my teeth so s/o that even if this is very very below par for em

I honestly don't see anything worth getting worked up over on tracks like Rapture and ihateit bar some arguably cringeworthy lines if I'm being completely honest. It's bog-standard radio rock, nothing too offensive or interesting, and your mileage would vary depending on your tolerance of that style. For me I have always had a pretty high tolerance of that stuff, so I don't mind those tracks. But it's not like they're on the level of that garbage Austin Winkler EP he put out after leaving Hinder.

i mean if you compare it to anything hinder related it looks like fucking define the great line but theyre still far and away the worst songs they did with spencer along with i gave up and wake me

At worst I'd probably give Wake Me, ihateit, and Rapture a 2.5, nothing too interesting but nothing offensively wretched about them.

yea i really wish this wasnt where i decided to listen to them especially considering like two years earlier they were playing define and chasing safety in full like under 30 minutes away from me. im a little kinder to this than a lot of other ppl seem to be but its reeeeally below par for them
i done fucked up on this one

like I knew of them for years and liked what I'd heard, I just had a real tough time sitting through a full album of theirs (bar TOCS a few months prior) until after this one dropped.

I remember I came across Underoath browsing iTunes one day shortly after Define came out, played the 30 second preview of In Regards to Myself and immediately purchased

I knew their name as far back as 2008, thanks to Madden NFL 09 featuring "Desperate Times, Desperate Measures" which at one point was the only song on LITSOS I even liked.
