I can appreciate this album for what it is, and not for what Opeth used to be. I think I have "some sense" regardless of the fact my opinion on a single album doesn't line up with you...



If you compare this to old Opeth you are going to have a skewed view.

The reviewer also said that Cusp of Eternity has a "fat riff" and that you will be "compelled to react to it in some way" so I think the grain of salt phase has been initiated.
