Nothing Was the Same is an album I feel like I would have appreciated much more in high school. It's a hype beast record. Just too derivative, and has much less integrity than this album. If You're Reading This Its Too Late however is really cool

I remember I was a super drake fan from "so far gone" onward (this is not a badge of honor), and "thank me later" was one of my favorite albums at the time, and I downloaded the leak of take care when that dropped and I listened to the first minute or whatever of "over my dead body" before drake comes in and I was laughing because it was so good and I was like "this motherfucker did it"

This album is just so underappreciated by everybody. The mainstream appreciates it for the wrong reasons; the underground hip hop stans write it off without a second thought. No wonder why Drake is tearfully looking at his empty chalice.
