To me, this is clearly OSDM. OSDM isn't so much a time period as it is a sound, that sound being very straightforward, crushing, bass heavy sound. There is OSDM (Immolation, Morbid Angel, Incantation, Autopsy, Grave, etc,) OSDM revival (Dead Congregation, Cruciamentum, Scorched, Entrails, etc), horribly thin modern tech Death (Archspire, Rings of Saturn, Brain Drill, etc).. I don't know how to describe it, it's just a sound that I immediately recognize as "Old School Death Metal" even if it wasn't realeased in the 80's. Whether you want to consider it Old School Death Metal or straight Death Metal is up to you I guess, I've just always heard it referred to as Old School Death Metal.
Immolation debuted in 1991 with the classic LP "Dawn of Possession" and haven't changed their sound to the more modern, cleaner production though, idk why this wouldn't be considered the OSDM sound.
