Solos completely owns in this album. Shit is so tightly executed, it amazes me. This is not stone cold classics, but its a hell of a record. Fuckin alien jams! This band is very different to Origin though, the songwriting approach is very different, the way main guitarists plays the guitar is different too, here there is a lot of floyd/trem picks, long solos, rhytm guitar player is absolutely outstanding (check lives). Origin is a whole diff beast, they use lots of fast and agressive arpeggios, bass guitar player play his own bass "riffs" (and his absolutely crazy with his instrument, this guy is fuckin spider or smth), etc etc... Necrophagist Epitaph is next in my list of crazy death metal. NECROBUMP

lol no, she's been married for a long time. She's also a big fan of Death, Gojira, Opeth (especially Ghost Reveries, Watershed, and Blackwater Park), Dream Theater, and Symphony X. She enjoys a lot of death metal, prog metal, and thrash metal... I'm trying to get her into Vektor right now

Lmao jk man, that sounds awesome man. My parents are just into general classic rock stuff, they're a bit too hippie-ish for my taste in music.

Hippie? I dunno about that, aren't hippies into obscurity in some shape or form?

I don't think hippies are repping this, this as mainstream as it gets for tech death
