Hardwired is a little bit better overall, the high points on that record sound a lot more like Metallica to me. This definitely has a lot of strong songs on it - All Nightmare Long, The End Of The Line, My Apocalypse, Unforgiven 3 and TWJYL go pretty hard, but the production, awful lyrics and overly boring riff sections kill the momentum.
