thats stupid im sorry if you don't see the inherent evilness of satanic concepts then you dont even black metal right

also you could feel the sky and happy cycling are just the two that come to the top of my head that are overwhelmingly dark

its just not there. evil and darkness are much different concepts than what BoC presents, they are much more overt and in your face.

geogaddi (because MHTRTC has 0 negative on it) is subliminally unsettling, kind of looking at old photographs or newspapers and having it look strange or slightly off because of age. its a mixture of nostalgia, discomfort, and catharsis, and they all coalesce into something that is off-color because of its insubstantiality.

but its not evil and dark, it just isnt there.

yea but the satanic concepts aren't done seriously, like the 66.6 runtime was an afterthought for the

hell of it

I do hear darkness in some tracks not gonna lie, but I heard darker and don't take it to heart. it never had much affect on me even before I noticed the tricks.

i mean on top of straight up denying the inherent evilness and darkness of satanism you are also stating a subjective matter to be a fact and i know you know that thats retarded

dark, evil, unsettling its all subjective, just because you don't feel it doesn't mean it

just isn't there x4000

also

evil and darkness are much different concepts than what BoC presents, they are much more overt and in your face.

you realize how saying "they are much more overt and in your face" in absolutely no way whatsoever is an argument supporting that BoC doesn't ever present evil and dark concepts (which is objective bullshit considering the concept of geogaddi is objectively evil and dark)

yea but the satanic concepts aren't done seriously, like the 66.6 runtime was an afterthought for the
hell of it

it was done seriously, the concept and themes of the album is 100% intentional, just because they aren't actually satanic doesn't mean its not serious. its not like geogaddi is a dethlok album.

dark is debatable.

evil is an objective no.

i can't even handle your bullshit right now im gonna go shuck some corn peace fuckers

as an afterthought fuck you hype geogaddi is dark and evil for me, it is the evil undertones of an uncomfortable acid trip deep in thought and it is the darkness in all corners of the spiritual realms and u cant take that from me with ur gayness ! !!!

lol chill pots u acting like me if someone badmouth DEI in front of my face (without the devastating

punch to the face ofc)

and I know that the essence in the songs were meant the way they were meant, but as I see it - not how

it really is - some of them was to fuck with the audience

i just dont know how else i can try to explain to you that "evil" as an idea is diametrically opposed to the kind of dark that BoC utilizes in their music.

i garauntee if you ever talked to these guys in person and described their music as evil they would laugh in your face.

you are also stating a subjective matter to be a fact and i know you know that thats retarded

it is a common, unspoken understanding that everyone on a music site that everything regarding music criticism is subjective, and if we were all to just say "well fuck it its all subjective" no one would ever discuss anything.

usually bringing this up highlights a lack of substantial information to back up a point.

This isn't quite true. Warp Records suggested they make the runtime that exact length as a joke to try

and fuck with people. "The devil made it" etc
