I'm not sure why but this is the only Portis that hits me right down to my core. Third and everything else just feels like stuff floating over my head that I can't connect with

Don't worry, I still love you art... (๐Ÿ˜ข).

The self-titled too? (It must, since that and RNYCL are 'everything else'.)

Third is more experimental, while their s/t is gloomier than Dummy, so I prefer those. If I want to revisit these tracks, I rather choose Roseland NYC, especially for THAT version of Strangers. What a finale!

I recently checked the 25th Anniversary Reissue of Roseland NYC Live, and I have mixed feelings. The addition of songs like Undenied, Numb or Western Eyes is fantastic, and I also love that it now includes the version of Roads that was actually played at the gig, because the only thing that annoyed me with the original release was the rhythmic clapping from the audience when the song started, as if it was a kindergarten show. However this version of Sour Times has lost its edge, nothing really distinguishes it from the studio version. Bethโ€™s angry near-screaming in the other version was much more fun.

anyone wanna defend Itโ€™s A Fireโ€™s claim to least good cut here? I feel like I could almost forget it exists. Unfair perhaps given the greatness which surrounds it, but maybe yes? ๐Ÿค”
