The Great Old Ones aren't folk but if you like Agalloch you will probably enjoy their new album.

I prefer The Plague of a Coming Age to The Womb of Primordial Nature. It has a couple tracks with Tomi Joutsen sounding less polished than on Amorphis records and the the drummer from Moonsorrow.

I didn't like The Plague of a Coming Age much at all for some reason

Noctus did a spoken-word intro for my new album. It's so sexy.

That's a bummer, I think it's a great album but Marras will always be my #1.

The Womb of Primordial Nature is close to a 5 for me, and A Collapse of Faith is really good too, though for some reason the sound of the rain in the beginning of the album always reminds me of boiling macaroni and cheese.

Marras is my favorite too. Wasn't too crazy about the new one either, tho the track Tomi was pretty sweet

"boiling macaroni and cheese." hah

Yeah there were a couple Tomi tracks, but Boiling Heart of the North the balladesque one is so amazing.

I guess I should go back and revisit the old ones then. Tis' the season.
