You've only rated one other Tool album though, Lateralus, and you gave it a fucking 3.0, you're clearly a lost cause. RIP Johnny. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

God and Satan
Sowing and Deviant
Tool and Melt-Banana (wow meta)
Misty & Brock and Jessie & James
Sideshow Bob and Hans Moleman

Not gonna lie, I kind of love how this album has split the Tool fanbase. But let's have a silent moment for the REAL victim of this album... Taylor Swift.

It has mostly split the Tool fanbase into "one of their best" and "great album but not as good as the ones before". Those who don't like it at all mostly never cared for Tool, from what I saw.

It's great and boring at the same time. That's quite a tricky thing to accomplish.

But seriously, this album is probably knocking out Taylor Swift's new album out of the #1 spot on Spotify. The things her fans have been tweeting are fucking hilarious.
'omg the length of the songs made me shook'
'Yeah but the bad news is that there is a chance of debuting at No2 due to a new band called Tool. If this ends up being the case then that would be an embarrassment beyond belief. This is Taylor Swift.'
'I deleted those comments.
I tweeted out of ignorance cause i had no clue who they were and i assumed that they were a new band from Spotify (even i listen to a lot of Classic Rock).
After doing some research, i see that they are an influential act in rock and metal scene'

@CosmicPie that might be the most eloquent and concise thing I've heard about this record in 7 days

Her fans are about 12 what do you expect? Where as tool fans can act equally as childish and are mostly grown ups.
I hate modern day 'Journalism' which just links 10 tweets as news.
Imagine caring about the charts regardless...

Some of things Tool fans have been tweeting is fucking hilarious
'Sorry Taylor. Real musicians have moved to number one this week'
'Most of any rock/metal bands have fans of all ages unlike shitty fake pop music which is for 9 year olds playing fortnite'
'No ... you really don't. Tool are actual musicians. Deeply indoctrinated in *actual* music. Not pop. There's a fundamental difference.'
'Comments by many of those "in the dark" is a bitter reminder of how long it's been since Rock n' Roll was the music followed by the masses. Not unlike Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, and other Progressive masters, Tool have remained true to their craft and are worthy of #1.'

"Imagine caring about the charts regardless..."
but..but Tool are going to bring real music back!

I've seen that too. Love how they paint Swift fans as musically illiterate dummies.

They arent?

I think the exquisite taste of yours truly says enough ;)

Well.. most music fans really are musically illiterate. Not much of a point.

Thought it was just funny that a band inactive for over 13 years has completely taken over music charts and pushed out juggernauts like Taylor Swift who just released her new album.
