Not too fond of (L)mirl or Phantom Bride, but every non-5d Deftones album has one or two kind of meh tracks.

I just think (L)mirl sounds like what Cherry Waves would be if Cherry Waves was not a top 50 Deftones track.



Phantom Bride's production hurts the track bad for me. The drums sound so washed out towards the end and Cantrell didn't really need to use that octave effect on his solo either.

I didn't hear the resemblance between (L)MIRL and Cherry Waves, but that doesn't mean you're wrong.



Phantom Bride is probably the best song here for me. It has a great chorus, beautiful textures and great guitar work from Mr. Cantrell.
