A guy in a band touring with one of Dennis's side projects as much confirmed that they are in the studio recording, and the guitarist that was fired more or less alluded to the fact that he didn't like the recording process as the reason. And what sense does it make to fire a guitarist in an inactive band?

They had an ethos ripped from Nation of Ulysses, made a couple of albums and split up before reforming after a wave of adulation from people who don't know any better.
Their currently in a hiatus where people are leaving/sacked and people still don't know any better.
