Eternal Rains is easily my fave of the post Heritage stuff. Not even a contest for me. Strange Brew is nice agreed. And Wisp as well yeah.
Moon Above for some reason never really stood out to me kalk. Haven't heard this one for ages though, who knows what happened if I'd have a go at it again soon.

Let's make it happen. I mean, that sounds quite nice.

Eternal Rains is the standout here. Moon Above, Voice of Treason, and Faith in Others too, even though it’s obvious how much Mikael wanted it to resemble Starless. Elysian Woes is perfectly nice.

I don't know, maybe I need to listen to Starless few more times to get the comparison. What song exactly do you mean?

Saw a guy wearing the PC t-shirt collab with a local brewery the other day. Admittedly he were quite a handsome chap. What a legend.

Nice. Always good to spot an Opeth tee in the wild.

Generic Opeth t’s are commonplace, but this was a great find. His mate had a ‘downy’ t-shirt on, crazy stuff!

I say commonplace, not on Mehtallica levels or anything but yeah I see ‘em fairly regularly.

I’ve never seen anyone wearing an Opeth t-shirt.

They're less common here then, at the other side of the North Sea. Or I don't visit pubs enough. I'd imagine that's were Dutch Opeth fans would go.
EDIT Ah, thanks zak, not a UK Vs NL thing then.

A band t-shirt is a rarity nowadays.
Off the top of me head the last few I’ve seen were pink floyd, def leppard??? Maiden and very surprisingly death, scream bloody gore.
I made a comment to the bloke wearing that one.

I see Meshuggah ones sometimes, and an Alcest tee too a few weeks ago. But they're definitely a rarity here as well.

I’m constantly tempted to get one and reckon I could pull it off but there’s also the fear of looking like a massive prat having a nervous breakdown/mid-life crisis.

I have a couple Opeth shirts I think, ordered them online. Haven’t worn a band t-shirt in a while, was more when I was in my teens and early 20s.
I was saying Faith in Others is like their Starless by King Crimson. Both songs start basically the same way for one thing.

Maybe if the shirt fits nicely it could work. That's usually the problem with band tees. They're like formless tents. Lucky for me my Portishead shirt fits very well 💚 But I know what you mean Talons, haven't worn one for a long time. (Except for my super gay ABBA shirt with friends ... 🌈!!!!)
Ok, tomorrow I'm going to do the post Watershed stuff back to back chronologically. It's been a while since I've done that. Curious how the new ones will make me look back on the old ones.

I've definitely stopped wearing my morbid angel shirts for these reasons.

This band should just go back to doing metal and stop wearing fedoras and embarrasing themselves

Don't agree with that sentiment at all. If they don't want to, they shouldn't play metal. It wouldn't work.

non-exhaustive list of notable-ish band t-shirts I've recognised in the last year or so (my memory isn't THAT good)...
Death, Opeth, (x3 each, at least), Sonic Youth, Rainbow, Converge, Cult of Luna, Neurosis, Morbid Angel, Meshuggah, Exhorder, Conjurer, Destruction, downy, plus obviously a few of your more common ones like Slayer, Metallica, Nirvana, Tool, Floyd, Bowie, GnR, Radiohead etc.
I know there are loads more, some of which were pretty obscure and I only recognised from being on here and seeing the artwork. Stupid brain.
