"speaking of GH and Load, i used to make custom GH charts that people could download. i did one for "the outlaw torn", and someone uploaded a video of them playing it to youtube. i was maybe in the 8th grade? it was my first call to fame! kinda, lol."
lmao i would've loved to have downloaded that back in the day

alex i believe in another thread you mentioned that you went to the M72 show......if so, were you lucky enough to buy one of the event t-shirts for your show?

other interesting things as i scan through the boxset:
- two new motorhead covers that i do not believe had been released officially before: chase is better than the catch & we are the road crew. both sound really good, jason does lead vocals on the latter.
- the house of jack built rehearsal recording... weird af! can see why it never made it to their live shows
- there is a ronnie rough cut entitled "the blue and the gray (and the red)" that is 8 minutes long and has entirely different, seemingly civil war themed lyrics.

a few hours before the show started, i saw the day 2 Tampa shirt on reddit and loved it, knew i would be attempting to purchase it when i got to a merch booth. i didn't realize that they only made so many of them and that they sell out very quick and that's exactly what happened (show started at 6:00, they were sold out by 4:30). by a stroke of luck, i just happened to be talking to a buddy of mine that mentioned his buddy bought 2 of them and it happened to be my size. fortunately, i was able to convince him to sell it to me and he did. the artwork on some of those shirts is incredible.

Civil war ronnie is so bizarre. I thought the original song couldn’t get goofier

dude me and my buddy got the literal last two event shirts for the chicago show last year lol. walked around the whole stadium didn't find any thought for sure they were out, one worker told us to go to the big table in the concourse. and they had two large shirts and that was it! we got there pretty late like middle of the first opener so it was the luckiest thing ever. something i'll remember forever. and the design is amazing, they do great work with all the artists they work with for their limited stuff. wanted a poster but those were long gone lol.

So the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and that Metallica shirt are both themed from Gasparilla, or Jose Gaspar, who was a pirate that terrorized the Gulf of Mexico during the early 1800's or so. Technically, you're correct though haha!

It's so cool to hear what is essentially a live version of The House Jack Built on the new box set. It sounded pretty good IMO, I feel like they have it in them to bust it out in their charity show or something.
