I feel like they went out on a real high, no stinkers in their discog at all.

I'd prefer a reunion tour or something over a meh new record.

I think these guys are incapable of releasing a meh album, but sure, if they did release one more it would be real hard living up to the hype. Also, don't forget that Mosquito Control exists because it fucking rules

listening to this and I kinda thought given how addicted I've been to "carry" alone in the past few months that I'd just be waiting around for it, at least a little bit, but man, no, those first three tracks are awesome. an album's album truly

I gotta listen more closely to the last two tracks this time around tbh, know they're on par but couldn't REALLY tell you much about them

"I'd prefer a reunion tour or something over a meh new record."

I don't think this band is capable of meh. Pretty sure this band on absolute auto-pilot is still a 4.

"I think these guys are incapable of releasing a meh album, but sure, if they did release one more it would be real hard living up to the hype. Also, don't forget that Mosquito Control exists because it fucking rules"

That's why the best way would be for them to just make it in secret and then just release it randomly with 0 marketing. That way there wouldn't be any hype to build and it would be totally in line with ISIS' ethos as a band honestly.

I get people saying why they shouldn't, but I don't think they had done all they could just yet. I feel like they could release just one more album. I just haven't seen enough to prove that is all they had.

Carry has some of my favorite chord changes when the song gets heavier. Around the 4:32 mark. The bass has already been doing those chord changes up until that point, but then the guitars join in here.

Ok so “from sinking”’s first half may be the “weakest” part of this record but it absolutely delivers by the end and “hym” is just great so yeah 5. namaste
