focus grows way harder in my experience (partly due to this album having the clearer production and less death m/ elements)

I never said it's a challenging album, nor did i make its accessibility seem like an issue for me.
The fact alone that Focus was made by the early 90's production/technical standards (not reducing the band's notable higher technical ability to the levels of its contemporary peers, you mind), makes the album a slower grower for me, and perhaps yes, even less accessible. It's just the way i go. I've grown my musical taste listening to Nu-Metal, and later Metalcore bands. So yes, from the get go Traced In Air is a much more rewarding experience for me.

@Moreira, that was my experience with cynic too. Focus grows without any excess queefage though, ultimately triumphing in my book. But srsly... they're both wonderful.
