yah i ended up getting that 4CD set too
their first 3 albums are remastered which i usually try to avoid and get originals, but they were done by Colin Marston so I figured they'd prob be decent and yeh they are good

Kelly Schaefers vocals sound so thin in comparision that it bothers me

but they’re not intrusive either.
The music is other-worldly though.

That explains a lot, bc i can't listen to Megadeth for the same reason. I would rather both bands would be instrumental or that they had intstrumental versions at least.

I just mean the vox definitely detract from the experience
whereas the vox here are just sort of there and acceptable, like I barely ever think about them even if they don’t elevate the instrumentals
