"Severed" is one of the weakest songs on this. Do not reply to me.

Your rating is too low, it disqualifies you from the debate.

Actually, do we know of any other prog/nu metal albums? I guess Karnivool's debut could qualify though it's more nu-prog than prog-nu and this one's one of a kind either way. Anything, anyone?

3.5 is still high to me, I just don’t give a damn about the interludes

Fair.
@Emim You're right, I don't know how I could've forgotten about the GOATs of progressive metal. Back in the day, Limp Bizkit had monstrous grooves, insanely complex drumming and outstanding vocals, and were a big influence on the whole scene. They used to be absolute prog masters but unfortunately sold out and started sounding like Tool.

Would not argue!

To be clear, this was by far my most listened to album in my early teens. I just never got into that song much.

Whole album is potent as shit so I don’t understand bitching that "not liking song x is a travesty".
And I repeat the question I asked earlier, do we know of any other instance of progressive nu metal? I’m fucking curious men.
|
| |
I do not. That's why this stands out the way it does, there's not really anything like it.

Severed is one of the best songs these guys have ever written. Calling it the weakest here is a wild take
