People tend to say this concept was too straight forward, but it's still not totally easy to understand lol

Well, I still do get confused whether they want us to think they're different people connected somehow or just a single soul that has different lives (which seems to be the point imo) in which their personality can vary

It's definetly the second point imo. Most people seem to look at it that way, but I wouldn't say it's the only possible option

Album is a mess of naive ballads and melodic plagiarisms. Only good thing here is Deja Vuh. Also Dance of Eternity where they stop trying to write songs and just wank on their instruments. How anyone can 5 an album with a blatant tool rip off (home) is beyond me.

As a much of a mess this is, its not insulting like octavarium and on.

Dude hate to break this to you, but Tool did not invent the harmonic minor scale

I don't dispute that, but since that riff is something any 13 year old with the vaguest understanding of music theory can come up with, I don't think either band deserves all that much credit for it

Well, if that's the kind of riffs this thing has, that's a good reason to not give this a 5.0, lol.
