Hmmm, yes, seems we're the same bout this issue then.
Agreed about the Kontinuerlig Drift/Continuum discussion above by the way. One of their best songs in many years.
EDIT: He. Page break. ✂📃

It took me ages to get into Sorceress. I found it to be a little underwhelming but now I can listen to it and enjoy it.

It had 8 fucking years to grow on me, it has not happened.
Also, another thought: Blackwater Park is overrated. After Harvest, I just skip to the titular song.

New record is kind of amazing. Its like Mikael found a way to connect his raging hard on with the death metal in a way thats new and builds on both the old and the new together. Progressive Death Rock? Maybe idfk

So much to address... heritage in hindsight is either best or close 2nd in their prog rock era. Heritage was just such a shock at the time that it felt like a disappointment when it released. Also, yeah can't think of any skippable track on BWP but kinda funny that you would actively enjoy harvest then skip everything up until the title track lol. And funeral portrait is cool but still toward the bottom half of the album in terms of quality
