I never really knew their stuff both times they were playing. Shame really but I do get bothered how often during the set they stop to say they do this for god and all that jazz. I get it, stop telling us every second please.

Word. I saw them on the disambiguation tour and then on the farewell one and both times they slayed hard. Didn't saying anything religious or a lot to the crowd in general tbh.

I'm guessing FearThyEvil saw them with aaron and maybe that's why things were different.

pretty sure around the time disambiguation came out they had an interview and kind of disassociated themselves as being a christian band

Once was on Warped Tour (Safety Era) and the sound was awful. Basically couldn't hear Spencer and Aaron sounded way too loud and just was not hitting any notes. The other time was (Great Line era) and I want to say they played with Poison the Well and maybe Every Time I Die, but again the sound/mixing was awful, especially Spencer. All of this is unfortunate because every other tour I missed with them, my friends all told me how much better they sounded than the times they saw them with me, so I probably just was at the wrong shows.

Interesting. That's all pretty understandable, I guess. Yeah I guess it could have been a case of making it to the wrong shows. I thought they were great but then again I only ever saw them once, so I didn't exactly have a great sample size to go off of either.
