Entire album is great, but Hall of the Dead might be my favorite here.

"You know what needs a remaster too? MOSQUITO CONTROL!"

Mosquito Control and Red Sea had been remastered in 2010 for the japanese double cd release and they were also remastered for the 2018 digital release: https://hydrahead.bandcamp.com/album/the-mosquito-control-ep-reissue

Also, I highly recommend the 2010 remaster of Celestial + SGNL>05 instead of the 2013 remaster of Celestial by James Plotkin (which sounds awful to me).

Can't exactly tell the difference in the new remasters on my vinyl copies for both EPs but I can tell you they sound great!

I don’t recall them ever saying they hated this. They don’t like Absence though.

"To reference the first part of your question, about whether or not I’m glad that Wavering Radiant was our last record – I’m glad it was our last record because, as I said, I don’t think we could have written another one. I don’t feel good about it as a final statement for the band. It’s definitely not my favorite record we made. I can’t disentangle it from the difficulty that I experienced in making it. So, for me, though I’m glad that other people have gotten something out of some of the ISIS records that I don’t feel really good about, which would be the last two….. I’m glad they exist for the people who enjoy them. For me, personally, I wish Panopticon had been the last record [laughs]. To put that bluntly."

Yeah it's nuts that Aaron isn't big on Absence or this. Both albums have most of the band's best songs between them. It's like how John Haughm, frontman of Agalloch, thinks Ashes is their worst album. Just goes to show that just because songwriters can make genius music, doesn't necessarily mean they can objectively judge their own creations at all.
