Idk if it was the production team that botched the shit out of his vocals or him sounding like shit, but I sat through like two minutes of the song and had to turn it off after a few lines. Something got fucked up either in the recording process or the mastering process, he sounded horrendous. even the stuff I've heard off The Book of Souls sounded better.

Vocals are weird though. Not because they sound bad per se, but it seems as if he was singning alone, to a different rhythm than that of the song. Like, it is as if he didn't even listen to the song while recording the vocals

He doesn't. While he's certainly out of his prime he's still an amazing vocalist, but I do believe they sound weird here, maybe because of a recording problem rather than the voice itself

I'll admit the mixing was suspect on the premiere of the video, via Youtube, and it sounded wayyy too reverb-y, with Bruce drowned out, but a friend of mind told me to check out the Spotify version of the track and everything sounds mint on that.



It's not an earth-shaking new standard for the band, but it's the 'den doing what they do best. So it's obviously great.
