“Damn that's sweet, when I saw em in 07 they came on, no intro or talking and crushed the crowd instantly with so did we“

Same. And Aaron was smoking spliffs while playing, lol

It's a shame Isis will probably never play again (that one time thing performing as Celestial doesn't count).

I did see them play his back to front too, I've probably already mentioned somewhere in this thread for ATPs 'dont look back ' series. It was supposed to be a dvd but the camera messed up. They did a bonus of 'in fiction' to finish.

we could but Cleanse exists. This band has some of the best closers tho, real tough picking a favourite even though I've been playing Garden of Light a lot lately

This gracefully made it into one of my fav albums of all time list. Such a gorgeous and monstrous listen.

it's funny cuz I listened to Panopticon when I was 13 or 14 or whatever and was like "WOW this is the first METAL i've ever LIKED" and immediately wrote a review (that now has so many views. goddammit. so many.) and then I listened to oceanic and I was like "this is literally like two notches better" and wrote an even crazier review and now here we are.

I'd slot this as top 50 OAT, maybe like 3rd or 4th best metal OAT, and panopticon as a solid uhhhh 4.5 maybe

That snare sound in Weight though just takes on a life of its own.
