Not a fan of the remix either. I appreciate the effort and the fact that we have two different ways to listen to this album now, but I don't like how the remix sound at all. It's not compressed or loud, actually is a bit more dynamic, but it sounds "muffled". The album loses clarity, attack, and punch and the drums sound weird in a way I don't like. I'm sticking to the original.

remix is kinda whatever to me, don't love it, but don't hate it either. But funnily enough, my brother actually likes the remix and I quote "a lot more", and it's his favorite by btbam in general. So that's cool to see I guess

Waggoner's solos on Selkies are God tier, still my fave BTBAM song.

BTBAM's always been a band that attracts dilusional crybabies and godawful edgelord purists. yall can pathetically 1, 2 or 3 this but the monolithic avrg withstands any pitiful trolling attempt out of sheer ignorance. no ones gonna remember u anyway

Coming back to these guys after not listening for a few years. For some reason this album really stands out a lot more to me now. Probably their best and honestly light years better than their last two albums.

Selkies is overrated - the heavy section in the middle is honestly one of the worst things BTBAM have written imo. Intro and outro are fun but the middle ruins the song a bit for me.
All Bodies, on the other hand, is fantastic. The gang vocals at the end are tacky but otherwise that's an easy top 10 track from the band.

First time listening to this album, I never gave pre-colors a chance because literally everyone made Colors sound like everything before it was nowhere near as good. This is the last time I let something like that happen, this shit is great

Colors was a watershed moment when it came out. It's pretty hard to describe now, because I can't think of another album since then that has forced a scene-wide response.
While I am grateful people laid off the Silent Circus worship, except for the most butthurt of contrarians, it was unfortunate that Alaska kind of got lost in the winds. Though part of it is due to the covers album in between that was met with mixed response.

Haven't listened for years and coming back for a couple relistens. Back then I always believed Alaska>Colors... and I still feel that way.
